The maximum working pressure allowed on cast steel
pipes shall be determined by the following formula:-

t = minimum thickness
W. P = Working Pressure
D = External diameter of pipe
S = Allowable working stress as specified in regulation 343.
C = 0.64 cm(0.25 in).
