Renewal of certificate of recognition: |
| (a) |
A firm desiring renewal of the certificate
of recognition shall apply for such renewal at least three months
before the expiry of the validity of the certificate to the
Secretary, Central Boilers Board who after following the procedure
laid down in these regulations may renew the certificate of
recognition and such renewal shall be valid for a further period
of five years: |

Notwithstanding anything contained
in sub-regulation (a), the period of validity shall be deemed
to have been extended till such time the decision on the renewal
is communicated to the firm. |
